Training is the foundation of a great relationship between you and your dog.
At Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue, we place a strong emphasis on positive, effective training. Our experienced trainers work with dogs of all temperaments, breeds, and sizes, helping build clear communication, confidence, and lifelong bonds between dogs and their people.

Whether you’re starting with a puppy or addressing specific behavior challenges, our classes focus on teaching essential commands and practical skills that support success at home and in everyday life. Our goal is to help prevent behavior-related issues and ensure dogs remain happy, well-adjusted members of their families.

Below is a list of our available training classes. Registration is required for all classes.

PUPPY TRAINING CLASS   |  $99

ADULT BASIC OBEDIENCE CLASS - LEVEL 2   |  $99

Four-week training program
Prerequisites: Dogs entering Adult Basic Obedience Class 2 should have a certificate showing they have passed Basic Obedience Class 1. REQUIREMENTS

• Signed Liability Release.
• Completed Questionnaire to help us learn about your dog’s needs.
• Retractable leashes are not allowed.
• Dogs must be current on age-appropriate vaccinations.
• Dogs over 6 months must be spayed or neutered.
• Well-behaved children 7 years and older are welcome to attend classes.
• Bring treats for your own dog for training. Should be high value. We recommend Pupperoni sticks (cut into small 1/4”pieces).
