Location: Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue Center
Reports to: Animal Programs Director
Job Type: Full Time [Hourly, Non-Exepmt]
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
Position Summary
The Animal Programs Assistant is a paid staff position responsible for supporting daily medical operations, assists with intake and routine care and ensures accurate record keeping. Bridges communication between the medical team, fosters and volunteers in a clean, organized and compassionate environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Medical Care & Records
- Veterinary & Surgery Coordination
- Animal Intake & General Care
- Pack clothing and accessories for the trailer
- Facility Maintenance & Organization
Qualifications
- Experience in animal care or veterinary support preferred
- Strong organizational/record keeping skills
- Ability to manage animals safely/compassionately
- Must be physically able to lift 50lbs, able to work in cold/hot environments
- Comfortable in a very fast-paced environment, ability to switch tasks easily while managing all duties
- Strong teamwork/communication
- Commitment to Mostly Mutts mission and values
Work Environment & Schedule
- This position requires regular/set work schedule at Mostly Mutts Rescue Center

Compensation
- Hourly
